MUSIC

www.sweetmother.org The SMT is an international project started by a group of artists, activists, and educators from around the globe. SMT uses the tools of popular culture – music, film, and television – as an empowering force to stimulate positive change in the images and reality of Africa and her people throughout the Diaspora.

www.fly.co.uk Fly | Global Music Culture - Covering everything from Afro beat to leftfield jazz, Fly is refreshingly free of the pompousness of many sources on 'world music'. Accessible, informed and influential, Fly is by far and away the most popular site of its kind and according to experts like Charlie Gillett also the best.

www.chillifried.com Chilli Fried is a globalbeat club session featuring the cream of dance sounds from around the world presented at two of London's finest intimate venues: Darbucka in Clerkenwell and Brixton's Ritzy Cafe Bar. The music policy is completely freestyle. Funky beats from across the globe, from cutting-edge contemporary to deep tradition.
